Love Practice Guide

Practice receiving love and belonging. Begin with a simple revision example, then try the free Always Been Loved meditation.

What “Always Been” means

Perhaps a delayed reply becomes rejection before you know anything about the other person’s day. Notice how quickly a moment can become a statement about who you are. This practice explores receiving affection, connection, and belonging.

“Always Been” names the position you enter in imagination. You do not have to prove it from your history. Neville Goddard’s revision means revisiting an experience in imagination and experiencing it as you would have wanted it to unfold.

You are choosing what you return to inwardly, while remaining clear about what happened and what you are revising.

Try a fifteen-second scene

Imagine arriving somewhere and being warmly welcomed. Hear someone say, “I’m so glad you’re here.” Feel yourself receive the welcome without explaining why you deserve it. Let the scene last about fifteen seconds. Keep it ordinary and close.

If a small moment of being overlooked comes to mind, revisit it in imagination with the welcome you would have wanted. If no memory comes, consciously create the scene above. A created scene can help you enter the state; revision specifically revisits an experience. You do not need a loving past to begin.

Use The Framework during the day

  1. Reveal. Notice when you begin expecting distance or preparing for rejection. What are you taking the interaction to mean about you?
  2. Release Authority. An unanswered message does not get to settle your worth. You can acknowledge the situation without making it your identity.
  3. Occupy. Return to your short welcome scene. Experience receiving affection. Let that position inform how you meet the next ordinary interaction.
  4. Stabilize. When the old expectation appears, notice it and return. You do not need another person to perform your imagined scene before you can practice the feeling.
